Why Moving an Old Piano Yourself Is a Risk

A piano is the hardest thing in most homes to move.

  • Moving it yourself

Pianos are heavy, top-heavy and easy to damage floors with.

  • Selling or giving it away

An old piano can be hard to sell or give away.

  • Leaving it at the curb

A piano is usually too heavy for curbside pickup.

Skip all of it. If it's on the first floor, we carry it out carefully and haul it away.

Pianos and Other Heavy Pieces

First floor only, and anything else that needs to go in the same trip.

Heavy items

  • Pianos from the first floor only
  • Furniture
  • Old appliances
